Our family has been in the auto-repair industry for over 175 years. Starting out with a stage coach building business in Australia, the Harvie’s have been around since the mid 1800’s – this was even before the first cars came into production.
After leaving school Chris Harvie worked for his father in the Panel Beating industry and spray painting business. After working in a range in different panel beating shops around Wellington and Kerikeri, Chris spent 16 years helping his parents start a big tree and whole sale nursery. Keen to get back to his roots, Chris purchased Elite Autospray 7 years ago, continuing the family tradition and combing decades of experience with the latest techniques and technologies. Chris Harvie and now employs 7 floor staff with over 70 years of combined experience across the team.
